KY's win our benefit

Please tell us how we will know who the 2 best teams are. As Vinnie Barbarino used to say "I'm so confused!!"

It would be difficult to do, but to express my point. Do you honestly think that Cal is a better team then Florida? That is how i feel about much of the top 10.

Brian, you're wrong, Kentucky should be favorites to beat UT. Woodson and Little will have a field day with UT's defense.

I think that Daniel kid is special, but as soon as I'm typing this OU fumble recovery for a score. Saying that, I don't think that Mizzou will beat them twice just trying to throw out some improbable scenarios.

He looked awesome last year, too. Of course, that's not too tough in the Big 12 North. They'll undoubtedly stumble soon. If they got to the National Championship somehow, they would lose by the mercy rule.

But UK lost to USC, which lost to LSU. It's not like just because they beat LSU, that makes them the best team. LSU played like crap tonight.

LSU didnt play like crap. KY just came in with a GREAT game plan, never panicked, kept the LSU defense guessing, and won the game.

I have said since before the season started that I thought that KY could be #2 or #3 in the SEC East. KY believes they will win now, not just HOPES they win.

Except for the part about Kentucky outplaying UT today. Kentucky oucld beat UT and win the SEC east by doing it. Along with breaking the longest winning streak in the country. Tough game.

The longest winning streak is ND and Navy and I hope that ends Nov 3! :)

it will end Nov 3rd

I donno about that.

Fulmer knows the poopstorm that will befall him if he loses this. Kentucky might be a very good team this year, but we DO have a 22 year winning streak over this team. We (as a whole fanbase) expect to win.

To quote you, "your post exudes ignorance" of UT's schedule. UT doesn't play Kentucky until the last game of the season in late November. He was talking about the ND over Navy streak ending.

You are correct. I just saw "that will end in november" clicked quote and went on writing. :hi:

I don't see how technically UK winning is good for UT since we are in the same division. A second loss for them would cushion a UT loss to the cats at the end of the season. However, that would be irrelevant unless the gators picked up another SEC loss. Oh, and Kentucky would have to have another loss by then, although I do believe that will happen.

So not really all that beneficial, and I was rooting for the wildcats over Leslie Miles

I was rooting for Les Miles, I knew he would screw some game up, just didn't expect it to be against Kentucky:blink:

this win is beneficial to us in no way. As for everyone thinking we will get killed when we play kentucky, UK won't be the only team on an emotional high if we win out until then. That game could decide who goes to the SECCG...don't think we would just lay down and die b/c UK beat almighty LSU.

Congrats to KY for an inspired win!!! But, it was just that!! LSU was "flat" all day...let's look at replay on CSS. Best KY team in yrs. but, they left it all on the field last night.
Vols win by "poundin' the rock"
