well I dont agree. Its been long noted that Stele and Chavis are great friends. There is no way he would try and undercut Chavis for DC. It would be up to the head coach to hire his coordinators anyways not the AD. So if its true then Steele is a HC candidate

Whittingham is just Urban Meyer Junior. Take that for what its worth. If you like his offense it will be the same except Urban is in a talent rich state and by the time Whittingham would take over here, Urabn will have his second BCS National title. And my friends its hard to outrecruit someone who runs the same thing you do with those glaring advantages.

As much as I don't like Urban Meyer, somehow I wouldn't be all that offended to see his offense wearing orange and white. I suspect it would look much better than it does in orange and blue.

He does not run the same offense as Urban and he is a defensive coach. Not trying to bust your chops but this post is not accurate. He was the DC before head coach. He revamped the offense with Ludwig it is a whole new deal.

We can't hire a guy hoping he turns out to be Meyer 2.0.

His resume can't compare to Meyer's.

want someone that can STOP Meyer 1

If he knows the system....

also, he's a defensive mided guy....despite the points the Utes score each week...

imagine what he could do with the type of players he could recruit to UT.....
