'22 KY LB Kalib Perry (Tennessee signee)

We told you last week that Kalib Perry would be coming to a decision and announcing sometime late in the month. We continue to feel like Tennessee makes the most sense and has been trending here for a while. The Georgetown, Kentucky native is very smart on and off the field and wants to go into some type of engineering program. He and Brian Jean Mary have really hit it off.

Even though Great Crossing played just 8 games last season, Perry racked up 140 tackles as a hybrid safety/linebacker to lead the Class 5A ranks. He was GC's top rusher with 510 yards & 6 TDs (11.1 ypc) and 2nd in receiving with 281 yards & 2 TDs on 11 catches.

Very versatile. He can grow into a speed rushing DE. OLB. TE. He good be a very good TE actually.

This kid is faster than you think. Pay attention to the offensive plays in his highlights. He appears to play a bit hesitant on defense right now. On offense, without the hesitation, he's not slow by any means. The kid is 6'4" and a bit of a long strider.
