Was watching some practice and it's scary how much #1 looks like LL.. I pray he's another clone.. Was having flashbacks.. The acid might be in full effect today who knows..

You're not alone and him wearing the #1 definitely makes the comparison more real IMO.

John Brice compared him to John Henderson and said he's as impressive, if not more so, from a physical standpoint.

Agree that King Kongbo is much bigger than Little, who was mostly a speed guy off the edge.

Little was a linebacker that grew into a DE... he was Jevon Kearse before there was a Jevon Kearse. Kongbo body-wise reminds me most of Reggie White.

He personally reminds me of Jason Pierre-Paul. Similar body type and size.

JPP as a 20 year old true junior went from junior college to South Florida and played well enough in his one year of division 1 football to be one and done.

Kongbo is a 20 year old redshirt sophomore and I think like JPP he might be one and done at Knoxville.

Pictures/Video's of Kongbo @ practice=comparisons of L Little, R White, Big John, JPP, etc

Kongbo's play on the field in the SEC=?????? Who knows yet?

Mighty big comparisons though. Sure hope he lives up to any one of them guys. He is for sure a physical beast and looks the part. His dominance on the field....TBD

Im sure pulling for him

No, he looks the part. But the main question is how he will react in front of 102,455. How he reacts to playing against bigger and more experienced competition. How he reacts to getting burned on a play, and handles criticism.

But especially I am waiting to hear how he prepares mentally and learns the game. You can post pictures of both, but when Leonard Little got here, I dare say he had many more games on his resume. Kongbo is impressive looking, but so is a Porsche sitting in a driveway. If you pop the hood and the engine isn't bolted in, you aren't going far.

I expect big things from Kongbo, but if they come on day 1, I will be surprised. I might even be impressed. But not until.

Shaun Ellis would be a better comparison

This makes sense to me. I suspect Kongbo this evening is figuring out the level in the SEC may be a little different than his previous experiences. Someone reported he lost a rep in practice today, I doubt that happened much at his previous location. I believe he will step up and make a big impact this year, hopefully on gator, dawg, and tide QBs!

It worries me that he's played such little football. Being a badazz in the weight room is one thing. Being a badazz in an sec team is a whole different story. We'll see

I haven't seen kongbo play a down yet but I did watch ll play alot an he just had this swagger an went 100 mph on ever play. It's like he had pride in doin his job which separates most players in nccaa an the NFL for that matter. So I sure hope kongbo has the same motor an heart
