Kmac to KC in 6th, 198 overall

I don't know enough about the game that goes on in the trenches to understand why NFL teams think K-Mac is better as a guard than DT. Can someone explain that?

Your better linemen who have more burst and explosion play DTackle. KMac doesn’t possess either to the extent that he could play DT at a high SEC level and, by extension, certainly not in the NFL. But he has very good measurables and is fairly talented. So, move him over to OL where he doesn’t have to be as athletic to have some success. The other issue is his motor and competitive mindset....does he have enough of either to play in the nfl? Hope so. Didn’t have nearly enough of either at UT. We’ll see.

In all fairness, perhaps CBJ wanted to move KMac to OL but he threatened to transfer. We do know he left early because Pruitt wanted him at OL. Who knows.

KMAC will either make it on the Chiefs' roster or he won't.

No need hatin' on the kid. Good luck young man!

Then butch should have let him transfer. He was nothing special at DT that’s for sure. High 3 star at the best.

Anyone remember Jerry Glanville stating he would make him a guard? He stated it pretty much from the time he got on campus that he was at the wrong spot. Lots of folks write ole Jerry off. Seems like maybe he knew a thing or two. He was seemingly a 2-3 explosive rep player on D.

He still isn’t a cemented success as an OL. Might want to hold off on that psychic website for ole Jerry.

Many thought he was an idiot to suggest it though including Kmac.

Jerry Glanville an IDIOT?
