Anyone recommend a certain brand of headphones? I'm considering the Klipsch S4i and Bose Ie2. The Klipsch is cheaper with very good reviews (cnet), anyone have these or recommend another brand? I like the over the ear style but leaning toward the in ear style to use while exercising, bball, etc.

Thanks.

Dr. Dre beats FTW

I don't know anything about the in ear beats. But if they are anywhere as good as the over ear beats they will be insanely awesome.

I'll have to check those out and I'm not opposed to the over ear headphones if they're that much better. Thanks.

FWIW, I bought some Klipsch home theatre speakers 2 months ago and the sound quality is on par with Bose for about 1/3 less.

This. The in the ear beats are really good too, they're called diddy beats.

Don't buy Beats unless you get a really good discount -- they are nice, but way overpriced for what they are.

Everything Bose makes can be described like this: Great technology, terrible materials, overpriced.

Klipsch in-ears aren't both good and worth the cost until you're in a pricier range ($400-500). I suppose the same can be said of all noise-canceling in ear headphones though.

If lower level is the only option, I've enjoyed Denon AH-C751, at higher levels I liked Shure SE-535.

I love Bose products but the in ear phones are garbage. Sound quality is average and they don't stay fitted very well. I replaced them with some $30 Sonys and they blow away the $100 Bose.

I have sony high bass in the ear headphones right now. Pretty good for $30. Gonna get some solo beats around Christmas time.

I have the Klipsch S4i and love them. I travel often due to my job and they are the best I've owned...including Bose. Definitely NOT a fan of Bose products.

I bought the Klipsch S4's from Bestbuy on Saturday. I bought them before a lot of you posts so I hope I didn't go all ksasha and ask for advice only to reject it. Search: "Toshiba laptop" for that classic thread. :)

Anyways, I'm very happy with these earphones so far. They sound great, especially the mids and highs. I can really hear a lot of sound that I usually miss on the average stereo. Bass is not as important to me based on the type of music I listen to as long as it doesn't distort and that is not a problem with these headphones.

I sampled Dr. Dre's beat headphones at Bestbuy and they are awesome but I didn't want to spend that much. They are built pretty good the wires are thicker and would probably last long enough to make the price worth buying them.

Bose are good with the over the ear phones but the reviews were terrible for their in ear headpones. Their quitecomfort noise cancelling headphones are nice but also too pricey for me. The ones I was considering were not as good as the Klipsch reviews.

I wish I would have checked those Sennheiser PX100s, VIB, they sound like a good option. Bestbuy carries alot of that brand as well.
