Recruiting was better then.

There were NFL players on his defenses. Secondary was talented. LBs were fast. DLine was disruptive. He wasn't coaching scrubs...

I'll tell you what, Jumper hasn't been great, but he's been damn solid. The hit he put on the A&M running back on 3rd and 3 was glorious.

True but all those backups didn't get 1st team reps from spring to fall. We have too many injuries for this game.
