You know what's embarrasing. When an announcer says Baker Mayfield (who had prior discipline issues) is "passionate" for grabbing his junk and flipping off an opposing crowd while Rashaan Gaulden should be kicked off the team for flipping off an opposing crowd

Hmmmm.....

Shows how unaware he is. He thinks they were throwing things on the field at Lane Kiffin. He has a platform, should be discussing the horrible officiating that the SEC is putting out there. That's what is embarrassing.

If you look at his original comment, he has to get another Schiano jab in as well. Herbstreit can go kick rocks.

While in a sense that moment in time is embarrassing, it should not in any way take away from the other 59 minutes of an electric crowd and hard fought football.

I say time to move on. Pay the fine and play football.

In principal I agree; however, this is how life and the real world work. A life of good deeds can be wiped out in a moment of indiscretion.

Or, the stupid acts of a few will taint a greater body of individuals. Maybe not fare, but just reality.

Sorry Kirk.

I am neither "heartbroken" nor "humiliated" at the action of a few fans at a college football game.

I think it was ridiculous it happened and thankful no one got hurt but, at the end of the day, we all have more important things to worry about.

Just another self aggrandizing talking head taking yet another shot at the Vols.

I give him a tiny bit of credit for at least admitting he was wrong but it took someone calling him on it to see it. But at least he didn’t double down and this the tiny bit of credit but I certainly remember that incident.

. He always goes back to Schiano. So many times he sneaks in a reference to it
