Who finishes 2,3, and 4 in the West will be very interesting between Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas.

All things considered, bammer does have an awful lot of distractions going on, Saban movie, espn at their doorstep, ect. plus, bammer has to replace 9 starters on defense, i dont care who you are that is a hard thing to do. I could see a well coached AU team sneaking in there. The addition of Newton should help their offense a lot.

The Gene Chizik love is crazy. He's the guy who was running Iowa State into the ground before he somehow got the Auburn job before last season. I don't see him winning the West this year, and I doubt Auburn ever wins the SEC under his watch.

Agreed. And as much as people criticized Kiffin's record with the Raiders, it was still better than Chizik's record was while at Iowa State. I think Malzahn will leave in a couple years or so for his own head coaching job, and that's when I think it will fall apart for both Malzahn and Chizik.

Chizik has surrounded himself with drama queens.

Malzahn burnt Arkansas to the ground and Trooper Chestbump openly campaigned for the OC job here at Tennessee.

That's what is going to bite him on the ass.

well everybody seems to be picking bama and its getting boring and annoying as hell so props to herby

aub has a decent shot for sure look how they had em on the ropes last yr

a couple teams in the west could win and are capable of beating Bama. LSU, Aub, Ark,


all you guys saying he's crazy did you even see them last yr? they played great for a first yr coach and brought in a great class


to think bama is a lock seems more stupid then this pick

Arkansas has yet to field a defense that's interested in tackling the ball carrier.

LSU has Les Miles, John Chavis and a gaping hole at the QB spot.

Auburn's a flash in the pan. Throwing fumblerooskis around only gets you so far

You may want to consider beating Auburn before you make a judgment. Besides as a Vol fan, I would think anything other than Bama would please you.:dance2:

Yep. I watched them lose at home to Kentucky, whom they hadn't lost to since 1966. I can see why you have such high expectations.

its different when its a rivalry or some duck that sneaks up on you

and ark is capable of putting up mad points

LSU had em close too last yr and robbed of an INT

im just saying think 3 yrs in a row undefeated in the SEC? not likely imo

plus they got the big target on their back this time

I agree with all of this. I was just simply pointing out that they did indeed lose to the bad news bears of the SEC. Not that I don't love my Cats, but gospel is gospel.

That being said, I'm putting a 100.00 on the Cats vs UT this year no matter what the odds. Damn the torpedo's.
