I didnt recall you saying the East was 3 times worse than the West either. The East only had one good team.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with me saying the West was bad and Kiffin wasn't overly impressive this year. You have apparently made up an argument that I didn't make and started tilting at windmills at it. Kiffin was actually aided by his East schedule. He played us and Vandy. We scored more than Ole Miss in the game but lost, and Vandy is the worst team in the league.

I never mentioned Kiffin but obviously you're obsessed with him. You actually said the West was terrible. I just pointed out they were 11-4 against the East. Hope you get over your Kiffin obsession. He's been gone quite awhile.

We beat Pitt and/or Ole Miss, Hype is a shoo in. It still a travesty Kirby s*** the bed again and still won it, where as Hype took absolutely nothing (other than a dumpster fire), won 7 games and turned us into a respectable program almost overnight. COY award took a big step toward being the sham that the Heisman has become, IMO. If I were a player at UT and won the Heisman, I’d refuse to accept it on behalf of Johnny Majors and Peyton.

A 7-5 coach winning over a12-0 coach?? Many of you are way too much of a homer. Imagine if Tennessee went 12-0 and the award was given to anyone else coaching a 7-5 team. You'd riot. Quit making yourselves look foolish.

While I bleed Orange I’m not sure Heupel deserves COY. Based upon the schedule many of us thought 6-6 to 7-5 was possible which is where we ended up. If we’d gone 8-4 to 9-3 then I’d be more inclined to say he deserved to be in that conversation. Georgia going 12-0 in the regular season was no shocker. Top 3 classes for how many years now? With that said I’m not inclined to believe Smart deserves COY either. I think it’s expected of Smart to produce that type of record with the talent at his disposal. It seems to me that most of these awards go the whoever ESPN is pimping and not to the person that actually performed miracles with less.
