That might be just the answer. Years of experience as OC in the NFL including years under Jimmy Johnson with the Dolphins. Plus, tons of experience with receivers...

I've said it on several other threads, but I'll repeat it. Since Fulmer is making the decision, Kippy is the best option we have.

For what it's worth, Kippy Brown only spent one season as an offensive coordinator in the NFL. After that, it was back to position coaching.

Why? Is it because he's having a hard time in the nfl with crap (VY) at qb?
If he was such a great coach don't you think he would have landed a job by now......the guy has been turned down by both the AZ schools and numerous others....Plus he is 61 years old.....why in the world would you want to bring the west coast offense to Knoxville...

So to answer your question...No, its not because VY and troubles with the Titans....It's because he's a west coast guy and he only has about 3-4 years left in him anyway....

Damn. First race discrimination, now age discrimination.

The man is an introvert, never was or ever will be HC material. Fits right in with what Fulmer will want.

Give me a break dude......Why in the world would Norm Chow want to leave a NFL OC position to become a college OC????? I have yet to discriminate anyone.....just why in the world would hiring a sixty year old at OC be a good move....in about three years we would be right back in the same postion....pass the pipe this way...

Saban, Spurrier????? Are you kidding me???

Listen Elaine I am tired of arguing this with you....Norm will be in UCLA where he wants to be, put a rose behind your ear and go cheer for him there...

What about Walt Harris?....What is he doing these days?....Fulmer has shown that only his cronies get his coordinator jobs, and I thought Walt was underappreciated at Pitt.

Great choice.......that's why Fulmer will not hire him.
