Kings to remain in Sacramento

If it's just a straight Milwaukee and Memphis swap without anyone relocation. Maybe...

East
Boston
Brooklyn
New York
Philadelphia
Toronto

Chicago
Cleveland
Detroit
Indiana
Memphis in - Milwaukee out

Atlanta
Charlotte
Miami
Orlando
Washington

West
Dallas
Houston
New Orleans
Phoenix in - Memphis out
San Antonio

Denver
Milwaukee in - Portland out
Minnesota
Oklahoma City
Utah

Golden State
Los Angeles
Los Angeles
Portland in - Phoenix out
Sacramento

I still like Memphis with Atlanta, Miami and Orlando though. Washington in that division is odd to me. And I don't want Washington in the Central division so that's why I moved Philly there in the first attempt.

I was talking about the scenario if Milwaukee were to move to Seattle. I agree that they won't flop Milwaukee and memphis as is.

True, Memphis to the Central works.

Just weird thinking of Seattle, Washington in a division made up of Texas and Louisiana.

Haha. C'mon man.. I agreed with your realignment in the west but as far as the east goes, I would put memphis in milwaukees spot and leave Philly/Washington alone.

lool

Chicago
Cleveland
Detroit
Indianapolis
Memphis

I wonder if Indiana would feel out of place. They even have fans in the crowd holding signs referring to themselves as 'hicks' lol. I suppose a lot of Tennessee is hickish even if the city of Memphis isn't so much. Indiana is pretty hickish but who am I to talk... I live in Iowa lol

The Grizzlies really shouldn't have to play out West regularly.

Milwaukee is probably the most likely franchise to move to Seattle now, but I'm still not sure I see it happening.

Seattle's fans and the city have been had by Schultz, Bennett and then Stern. This situation with Sacramento provided the perfect storm where private money would get a team in, but any future moves would likely require a significant level of public funding.

I still think the NBA needs to cut a few teams. Milwaukee, New Orleans and Charlotte just don't seem to be able to handle multiple pro franchises, and the Kings have a wishy washy fanbase and a garbage stadium situation.

I used to think this, but while my Pacers are rarely mentioned on Line 1 of teams to cut, they're always right there on Line 2, and that scares me. For now, I'll say no thanks to NBA contraction.

Honestly I never remember the Bobcats are an actual NBA team. "Bobcats" is such a bush league nickname I could never take it seriously.

If they are going to stay in Charlotte, it would be in their best interest to get the Hornets nickname back.

The crawler on espn just said that the Bobcats are in the process of trying to change their name to the Hornets. It didn't say what was standing in the way.
