do you guys think kiffin will allow the media more and longer access to practices? I know fulmer allowed very little media access to practices.

that will be an interesting change.

I'm not sure, I hope he does for the first few anyways, just so we can see what we have.

I bet he gives the media full access after all the glowing articles they wrote about him during the coaching search.

Or he could put a sign outside "Real journalists only" and that would eliminate the TN media.

Pete Carroll is the guy he's probably learned the most from, and here is Carroll's take on open practices.

Why are practices so open?
Coach Pete Carroll likes having open practices because it gives what could be a mundane set of drills a game-like feel. Coaches believe players perform at a high level when they know they have an audience. “If we’re going to play in front of a lot of people, we should practice in front of a lot of people,” Carroll says.

I'm really looking forward to the many changes that I'm sure we'll all see once Kiffin really gets his feet wet!

No, other coaches were scouting UT's practices so Fulmer closed them to the media.

I heard from a poster on Volquest the he would have open practices.

I'm looking forward to open practices again. I like hearing more about them in the off season.

When will CLK be able to have his team on the field for practice with him in attendance? Will it not be until the spring? I know bowl teams can continue to practice but did not think those not going to a bowl could during this time.
