Typical stuff from this jerk.

ANDREA KREMER: When you came into Knoxville, the first thing that you preached was loyalty and togetherness. Now you’re leaving a year later and there’s no loyalty and you’re about to break up togetherness.

LANE KIFFIN: I never once told any of those players I would be there forever. I never made the statement, ‘I’m coming here, this is my dream job, I’m never leaving.’ I never made those statements.

Why am i not surprised by this comment?? Why you continue to defend this s.o.b. i will never know.

I guarantee he didn't tell USC's players that either, even if it is his dream job.

And if you think Dooley has ever told UT's players that he'll never leave, you're so out of touch with reality it isn't funny.

On a serious note, Kiffin Jr. is a douche. Kiffin Sr. is alright by me.

I would bet money that Kiffin told his players he's there for the long haul, just to save face with the situation here at UT.

The point here is that the boy cant be trusted no matter where he goes.

He is full of lies and BS

He probably didn't say that.

Of course, he did tell McCoy that McCoy was a part of all those championships that they were going to win in the future, because of the foundation that he helped them lay.

I'm sure we can come up with a few more statements by Kiffin that implied that he would be here a bit longer than 14 months.

Kiffin better win big at usc very quickly---those fans are expecting a title soon--or they'll run him out of town with daddy.

Eh, I doubt he said that exactly, but I'm sure he told recruits that he would be there at least until their college career was over. While he probably never said that he would be here forever, I'm sure he made some kind of promise to recruits.

Either way coaches break promises all the time. So even if he did say he'd be here forever, who cares?

To be honest, he never addressed the question.

You're in a sad spot when you have to go Clinton-esque in word mincing to feel better about your decisions.

Look in the mirror and repeat your statement to yourself: "you're so out of touch with reality it isn't funny."

Repeat until it sinks in.
