I haven't seen this posted, but I just read on ESPN that this is the word. It is an insider article however. Can anyone with an account summarize?

Thanks

Brown is a fool to leave here to go to USC. The guy left him and all his other recruits hanging out to dry. Come to UT, be a part of something special. Oh but I'm going to leave before we get anything going, sorry to leave you high and dry.

I agree 100%. I really don't see Brown going to USC, but with these kids anything is possible. Surely Tennessee would not release him to go there.

Also the Insider article is just quoting some sports writer for the LA Daily News as saying its a 50-50 chance he comes to USC.

So basically that means its quoting a guy who knows nothing about the situation.

If these recruits are ignorant enough to follow Lane Kiffin to USC, let them go! I am so sick of hearing people talk about if this player goes or that player transfers. Tennessee does not need to take a back seat to USC or any other University, for that matter. We may be in a little slump right now, but we are still Tennessee, and we still have one hell of a Football Tradition, and we still have some of the best facilities in the country. Tennessee has plenty to sell! If Bryce Brown and Aaron Douglas do not want to be a part of Tennessee. Let them go! We need players, like Chuck Smith, who bleed Orange and that want to be here. Bryce Brown had it made. He was pretty much penciled in as the starting Tailback for next year. And not at a pushover school either, might I add. At the University of Tennessee! If he wants out that bad and is willing to sit out an entire year, then let the kid go. Tennessee Football is bigger than a few recruits. Tauren Poole, David Oku, Toney Williams, and Rajaan Neal all want to be here. That is all I need to know! Go Freakin Big Orange!

If he somehow landed there, I hope he never pans out. That would be as dirty as what Lame did...
Either go to Kansas "We will win nothing" State or stay at UT...anywhere else, you're a snake Bryce!

Why would I want to go to a school that is about to get the hammer dropped down on them?

since the announcement that rb bryce brown was leaving the tennessee program, the focus has been on his transferring to kansas state, near his wichita hometown and to be reunited with his brother, lb arthur. But could brown end up being the sole player/recruit to follow former coach lane kiffin to usc? Kiffin all but bent over backward for brown last season, and it makes sense that brown would want that kind of a comfort level with his next coach. (kansas state's bill snyder is many things, but warm and fuzzy is not one of them.)

scott wolf of the los angeles daily news weighs in on the possibility of brown becoming a trojan: "i think the odds are 50-50 right now and i'm sure contact has been made about it. Brown looked at usc when he was a senior in high school but never actually visited despite overtures toward usc. Pete carroll finally got fed up and told him usc was no longer interested. Lane kiffin was not in position to ever get fed up at tennessee."

I dont think DD or MH would sign off on it. If Bryce is that stupid to follow something like Kiffin then let him go juco route and they can reunite and thats if Kiffin has a job at the end of this year.

As much as I hate the man he will have a job at years end. He is set up with way to much to get a one and done deal. I hope he falls flat on his face, but I just dont see it happening..

First if they let him go to USC they should be fired on the spot!

Second if someone wants to take boy as racist then tuff **** for them, I think most people are tired of someone calling everything racist or hate ect ect!

I admit ignorance, but don't we have to grant him a release that would allow that transfer. I thought I remembered DD saying something similar about the whole Douglas thing. There should be no circumstance that we would release players to USC.
