Three highly competitive coaches with ambitions to be the best. Does anyone else believe that crazy Al Davis is trying for the old divide and conquer routine? How could Summitt and Pearl not want a championship calibar football team. When there is this much excitement surrounding the football team it supports all of the other teams financially and they benefit in other ways...Mike Hamilton gets it.

Mike Hamilton is a smart man, he wouldn't have hired Kiffin if he didn't think he could get the job done...No offense towards the basketball program or Pearl, but with the basketball program Hamilton had some room for error because its not as important here as it is in say the ACC schools...He knows he had to home run with his football hire and I think he did..Time will tell though

i hope so,but there is only one proven winner in the bunch,but i got high hopes for the other two

If Pearl has such a quench for success and a desire to be the best, our halfcourt O would at least be competent and he would have new assistants sitting next to him this year.

First time I've heard of a quench for success, but it does oddly fit the Pearl situation.

The Pearl situation is extremely frustrating to me. We've hit a wall and people are too dumb to recognize it.

Al Davis is a senile old fart whose better days has passed him by.For any one to be able to deduce what he is trying to do would be a exercise in futility.

The three (3) Coaches maybe the best mix in all of college sports at any Institution.

Hamilton that smart,maybe.Kiffin that smart,absolutely.

That's good to hear. I'm afraid Bruce does not have the ability to reach a Final Four, and with Cal now in Lexington, I'm pretty sure he won't be winning more SEC titles either.

Pearl doesent get enough credit from some considering the talent we lost before last season...We were such a joke before he got here. When we get more skilled guard play through future recruits... Watch out.

Is that when we'll play some defense? Maybe our offense will be initiated within 15 seconds of crossing half court. Maybe we'll act coached at some point.

Why is everyone bashing Bruce Pearl? He is doing a great job. I mean before Pearl came in Tennessee basketball sucked! Now Tennessee is back on the map because, of what Bruce Pearl did. It seems as if all the Tennessee fans are in firing mode since Fulmer was fired. We all need to calm down and be more relistac. We got the 3 best coaches in the county now lets not down them!

how long does Bruce have to get that done? 4-5 more years? How long will you give Kiffin to find a serviceable QB?

I do no know what it means to be relistac, but the University of Tennessee does not have the 3 best coaches in their respected sports.

so Kiffin has 2 months to find a QB but Bruce has a lifetime contract to try and get a PG into this program?

and UT basketball was down but there had been quite a few successful seasons before he got here. And I've been watching UT bball since the mid 80's if you really want to compare

Im not giving Lane Kiffin 2 months im saying we will have a qb in 2 months. Im also saying that no one should even be thinking about firing Bruce Pearl. He is bringing Tennessee basketball back on the map. Which is a good thing but, you can't think he's going to be perfect.
