Kiffin Reaching Out to Former Players

yeah, i'd be on the look out for the guys who played under Majors too. you never know when they're going to lead the coup to get him back on the sidelines.

this method is a lot better than coming in and saying you don't care about the guys who played on the teams before you.

That's why I said that I like the move. It's just that somebody upthread said it was a "no-brainer," and I don't think it's quite that. I can see why Kiffin might want to finish brainwashing his new charges before he started letting Fulmer's guys hang around the weight room, sneering at how hard everybody's having to work and waxing nostalgic about that old-time family atmosphere. I mean, it's not like Ramon Foster is going to have anything much to do for awhile.

agreed...it's about the future, not the past!
So, if you were a new recruit and your coach brought in Peyton Manning, Al Wilson, Kevin Burnett, Stanley Morgan etc, etc you wouldn't be impressed and more likely to work your butt off to be a Volunteer like those guys?
