I get more impressed with CLK everytime I hear him. If he is as impressive on the field as he is in his conferences, we have a lot to be excited about.

On a stage like this, you can't just blow smoke. You really have to be able to back it up.

He isn't willing to talk about things that haven't happened yet.

He isn't willing to make predictions on wins.

He IS willing to talk about his plan to take TN back to the top.

And he IS willing to let it be known, flat out, he doesn't give a flying rooster what spurrier or any other coach that isn't associated with TN, has to think.

I think I'm in love.

Sounds like he is going to pave the way for a lot of athletes to make it to the NFL. I think we need to get the ink pens ready for some big time recruits.

A very calculated message is being broadcast. If you want to go to the league come to the hill. When it seems like every program is going to the spread Tennessee is unabashedly staying prostyle O.

I loved it! The ole ball coach took jabs at Tennessee and Fulmer for years with no returns. Coach Kiff zinged back and it was a riot! This 'kid' means business and he is here to win! :rock:

I don't think it's necessarily nerves as much as he is got so much going on that his mind is probably in hundred different places right now. More focused on staff and recruits than press conference right now. Good presser anyhow , like his fire. Tn Vols the gateway to the NFL.:good!:

I'm talking about comfortable within the context of confidence, not complacency.

This is still a step up over the last guy but it will be better once CLK gets a few SEC games (wins) under his belt.

I am impressed with the tone he is setting. MH just needs to set the A/C real low like the producers do for Letterman. Still nerves are not settled.
