Kiffin must not understand the SEC.....

This guy must not understand what Coach Kiff said. It is an accomplishment that he has hired from other SEC schools some solid recruiters. It shows that HE DOES UNDERSTAND that to win on the field one must win in the living rooms of talented players. Coach Kiff went after the best coaches. The way I understand it is, he is serious about winning.

Those guys are not very smart. They will be the first ones i run to when we beat south carolina and florida. IMO it can be done next year with good coaching

Why do we bring in garbage from other boards into this one. I could care less what Billy Bob from Hiram, GA has to say. When I clicked on it I was expecting an article from a half way respectable sports writer.

coaches and getting the top tier recruits interested in Rocky Top again, the SEC fans will have a lot more to complain about before too many more years go by.

If the other schools are hatin on us, it's a very good sign.

sounds to me like some people are bitter. poor things. they dont even know how upset they're gonna become when we start stompin them in 2010 and on. this just make me wish even more that we had gotten garner and gonzales.

This reminds me of a politics argument. He brings up wanting to hire Rodney Garner for an offensive position, noting that he is a D-line coach, but fails to point out that we already had a great D-line coach and a great DC. Where were we supposed to offer Garner? He has coached offense before, but very little. It isn't like Kiffin assumed he would be better there - but he wanted him even if it wasn't at his natural position. Then, they were willing to adjust the staff to put him on defense, but Garner didn't want them to do that - something this guy fails to note. It's amazing how stupid you can make someone look when you leave out 80% of the details.

It sure is nice having a coach that everyone else hates. I am tired of Tennessee being the "aw shucks we'll get them next year school". CLK reminds me of CBP in that they expect to win and don't care about stepping on toes on the way to the top. That said the quote about "beating Florida next year" is being blown way out of proportion. If you watch the press conference I believe Kiffin actually meant to say "I can't wait until we beat Florida" PERIOD Does anyone actually think CLK would call Florida out like and really expect to beat Florida next year? He even turned to MH and said "Mike told me to say that" and laughed. Talk about laughing how about Rodney Garner being a defensive line guru? Give me a break he is a great recruiter but I don't think many would agree that he is a Guru as a coach.

Don't you know. His offense will never work with our amazing defenses.

I remember that consternation.

2 National Championships and thousands of yards later people will probably still say "it'll fail when Tebow isn't running it".

We'll see.

he sayd kiffins sounds arrogent referencing the accomplishment of getting the staff. How can Kiff sound arrogent when the man read a sentence, he has no idea how he sounded when he said it.

It appears that most of the ongoing negativity was from one UGA poster and a couple of UF posters. Who would have ever seen that coming?
