This reminds me of a politics argument. He brings up wanting to hire Rodney Garner for an offensive position, noting that he is a D-line coach, but fails to point out that we already had a great D-line coach and a great DC. Where were we supposed to offer Garner? He has coached offense before, but very little. It isn't like Kiffin assumed he would be better there - but he wanted him even if it wasn't at his natural position. Then, they were willing to adjust the staff to put him on defense, but Garner didn't want them to do that - something this guy fails to note. It's amazing how stupid you can make someone look when you leave out 80% of the details.
