That's what people have been saying.


He wasn't just talking off the hinge when he said what he said. He did what he felt, and knew, he needed to do to get a program that hasn't been to a BCS bowl game and has had 2 losing seasons in the time that kids he's trying to sell this program to have been in High School.

It was brash, but it was needed to forcibly gain exposure for UT.

otherwise what reason would the press have for putting tennessee, tennessee, tennessee in front of everyone's eyes during a rebuilding period after a losing season?

I agree I love all the press the Vols are getting but give it a rest! Just because this is the Gators we are supposed to be scared and kiss Urban Cryers ***? I thought it was all about winning and believing you can beat anyone anywhere? I was watching ESPN earlier A.K.A volhater network and they are making a big deal about Rex Ryan talkin trash about the Pats and coach Belichick. This reminds me of the Kiffin/Meyer situation. Since when in sports was hating your rival and saying and doing anything to beat them not a definate? Screw ESPN, the Kiffin haters and everyone else that wants to talk trash on us!!! Will we win tommorow? Probably not but to me its all about the future and this program has a bright future ahead thanks to CLK! GO VOLS!!!

He said it, he has to live with it. It doesn't bother him. It bothers fans on the other side of the ball and their team. That's all right, it should bother them. Kiffin will coach a good game Saturday and hopefully our offense can respond starting with the QB. The defense should do all right. The crowd will definitely be in it and only one way to quiet them down. If not, see ya next year.

Agreed. **** ESPN. We will see what they have to say in a about 2 years when Tennessee is back in the National Title picture again...Kiffin is the friggin man and he is gonna turn our program around in no time at all with all these top tier recruits he is bringing in! I know ESPN owns this board and all but they can kiss my ass just like all the other people out there who doubt the Vols! They better by God get used to hearing ROCKY TOP cause WOOO BABY WE ARE ON OUR WAY BACK TO THE TOP!!!!

Good point. This is still America. We still have freedom of speech, last time I checked. In this country, you have the right to say anything and have no one ask you about it. You can falsely accuse, degrade , attack or mock anything you want and that's ok, according to our laws.

You can also tell kids you plan on playing your future starting QB at linebacker.
