"We should have beat the #1 team in the nation... we'll get'em next year!" Sounds good to me. I (personally) thought this was going to be a blowout. I had one foot on the Lane Train before this game... now I'm hanging out the window screaming Rocky Top!!! GO VOLS!:dance2:

Any yet you started a thread two days ago questioning Kiffin's contract? You do realize that he outcoached a man that makes twice as much as him?

I'm still crying.

I didn't know Lincoln was STILL hurt.... Does that make it any better for anyone?

I don't see any outrage towards Lincoln... Maybe I'm in the wrong for being upset with him.

Yes, I did start that thread. I was going to write a retraction instead of this but I felt this was more fitting... sometimes some of us just need a little extra convincing unfortunately this time it was me. But, Volnation better believe that I am on Kiffin's side 200%. Volnation, will you please except my apology for that appalling thread I started earlier this week? regardless... GO VOLS!

I like it, but I'm sure that everyone else in the SEC will complain that he should shut his mouth and that he won't last in the SEC because he runs his mouth...oh well as long as he can back it up (and he soon will be) talk all you want. :dance2:

Is there no one else that can kick the friggin' ball? We have 2nd string players everywhere else, why not kicker? Do we just not want to give another scholarship to a kicker? I am not blaming Kiffin, just wondering.

So just off of a 45-19 beatdown of Georgia you question the contract, but because of a 12-10 loss to Alabama you've got 2 feet on the Lane Train? Give me a break.

I've said all I can say... I'm not saying that we shouldn't question it but I see at this point he brings a lot more than just the present... he brings the future.

I'm hoping we do next year...but I can also see us taking a step back in losing EB, Hardesty, Rico, some o-lineman, dan williams, and even Crompton

You are a roller coaster fan arent you? Bashing the coaches after losses....loving them after wins? That has to be hard on you. And in case you missed it in your epic thread..... CLK didnt get an extension or "new" contract like you were making a big deal about.....he simply signed the contract that was agreed upon when he was hired last November.

I'm gonna try this again... I didn't know that it was NOT a contract extension. I thought he got an extension I was mistaken. When you look at the his entire head coaching record to this point and you see 8-21 you don't think 'hey!, lets give that guy over 2 mil to come to an ELITE school and make it better by kicking out a coach who has made it to several SEC championship games and one NC game' sorry but that didn't seem right... now I'm saying that in the whole scheme of things I didn't realize that he was almost underpaid for the job... but when I think of giving someone a ****-ton of money I do not think of a 8-21 head coach... but now I am FULL STEAM to the future! By the way I AM NOT A FAIRWEATHER FAN! I would not give two ****s to come here and argue with you if I was.:hi:

That would be "guarantees", not "guarantee's". But, this is a UT forum.

Anyway, my thoughts on Lame Kiffin:

My thoughts on Lame Kiffin, Head Coach (lol) of the once-great Tennessee Volunteers:

This guy reminds me of a teenager -- one in about the 6th or 7th grade. Not only does he say the kinds of things one would expect from a young teenage boy, but his very demeanor is teen-like. Contrast Kiffin and Saban. One is a boy and the other a man. Heck, Kiffin even has to have his dad hold his hand on the sideline. He is really not mature enough for the SEC. Sure, TN played a very good game, but SEC coaching is for adults. He needs to go back to his room, get on his bunkbed and share these complaints with his poster of Farrah Faucet.

His comments after the game should cause embarrassment to every self-respecting TN fan. In fact, his teenage-like mouth should be a regular source of embarrassment. Maybe you should conduct a petition drive to ask him to take some hormones and grow up. I would imagine that you have players on the team that are more mature than the coach! It is really pathetic, you must admit.

One question: When he starts shaving, will you all put his first razor on display?

Irony.

"Lame" punked Saban in the coaching department today. I can sense the fear. LOLOLOLOL.
