Kiffin Apologizes to Pahokee Coach

Follow-up on the Kiffin comments to Pahokee head coach
I just got off the phone with Pahokee head coach Blaze Thompson and he informed me today that Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin called him and apologized today for his comments just a few days ago. Kiffin stated that his comments were wrong and that he apologizes to the entire Pahokee administration. Kiffin also spoke with the Pahokee principal to let them know his intentions of an apology. I would imagine from what I hear that a public apology will probably be made at sometime.

Good. CUM is fair game but the Pahokee Coach got caught in the crossfire.

Lane is young. Hopefully he has learned a lesson about what or what not to say in recruiting and will move on into coaching the team to be winners.

I agree. He made a mistake and, after this, seems to have recovered nicely.

I like it...I say we try to stretch Lane's fence around TN to include Pahokee area as well :)

I know that's what he said, but I don't think that's what he meant. I think he was trying to illustrate how some schools are just hell-bent on having their student go to one school. CLK was just trying to emphasize how locked up that school is to outsiders and he made the inferral that there were other schools just like it. Was it a poor choice of words...yes. But to make an omelet you gotta break a few eggs.

forget Pahokee just get me two from Dade County every year and we will be fine.

UT doesn't need to worry about this coach. They probably will not recruit there again anyway. There are plenty of studs all over florida that Coach O can go after down there.

My question is, has he told UM and LM that he is sorry for swaying their recruits.

Another bad choice by a young coach .Makes you wonder if Monte forgot where the woodshed was ???????? I doubt Lane had on his resume that was he an idiot , but he also forgot the part about unethical!!!!!!!!!

Coach O and/or Gran. Gran does very well in Florida.

Yes another Elane Kiffin blunder!! This guy has really screwed things up in a short amount of time a real Moron!! Good Job that will be good for building reationships with high school coaches. Idiot!!

I dont care if the guy worships Satan! As long as he wins a lot of games, he can run his mouth all he wants. This will all be forgotten if he brings us back to prominance.

Running down the HS coach publicly is the problem. I know the coach at my local HS would do WHATEVER is necessary to get our kids to go where he wants.

We are all aware that this happens, yes? This is simply CUM and the rest of the lilylivers taking shots at CLK whenever they're available.
