Kid is pretty gutsy or ruthless

I’m with you here. It’s like the picture that was circulating a long time ago of the kid on a visit to Georgia in a Tennessee hoodie. You could tell it was awkward with him and Richt.

I don’t even know who that player was. I assume he played here?

Richt was visiting his high school. While not classy either, slightly different than spending a schools money, eating their food, taking one of their allotted visits and showing that degree of disrespect. I’d hope an adult somewhere in this guys life would have told him better. Evidently not.

Pretty sure it was 5 star Preston Williams and we all thought it was awesome .

Not surprised a gator would support that.....not surprised in the least.

Situational cluelessness perhaps…calling the kid classless is a stretch.

But feel free to keep painting with that broad brush DaVinci.

Bruce doesn’t seem all that fazed in the picture. Hell knowing Bruce’s personality he probably cracked a joke or two about it.

But sure let’s label a kid as being classless over a t-shirt. 🙄
I’m sure he did. He probably wants 5 guys just like him that would wear Auburn shirts when visiting other schools.

You come to where I'm at, how's that disrespectful in any way?

I’d think the young man knew Richt was coming to see him that day. At least that was how it used to be done. Hey, coaches only have so much time and so many visits. It’s an honor for a high school kid to be recruited & to meet a Mark Richt, Bruce Pearl.

I understand why some of you feel your way. I don’t.

He’s from Arkansas, he plays for the Arkansas Hawks, his brother plays at Arkansas. Wouldn’t be surprised if all his shirts have Arkansas on them. I doubt Bruce Pearl cares as long as he ends up w an Auburn jersey on him.

Yeah his brother being a current Arkansas player makes it somewhat understandable. I'm sure Pearl realizes the family already leans that way with a kid there.

No doubt Arkansas fans would still be pissed if the situations were reversed though lol. We've had Razorback football players openly root for Arkansas to lose to Kentucky in basketball and one football player had a snapchat video come out of him wearing a Texas Longhorns hat, those caused enough of a stir. A lot of kids these days view schools as a means to an end and don't necessarily care about allegiances like fans do.

Yeah, there is a reason "fan" is short for "fanatic".... most would never waver from their favorite SEC school, it is part of their family fabric and traditions.

I would sooner wear nothing but porkchop laden drawers in the African Lion Reserve than ever put a stitch of gator or gump colored garb on this fantastic frame of mine!!! Lmao. GO VOLS

Or he is letting everyone know where his heart is. Everyone on this board would be freaking out if a Tennessee kid was visiting auburn wearing auburn stuff while committed to UT.

If he is being honest about his intentions good on him. He might have told Bruce before the visit he is all Arkansas, and Auburn is just happy to get their foot in the door.

I swear you snowflakes will find anything to get upset over.

He was a UT commit and Richt was there to try and turn him to UGA...Didn't work and he played at UT but can't remember his name.
