This true...But some kids get too homesick or personal life on campus may not be going well...UT's current situation is a easy way for them to leave and somewhat save face...I do hope the best for this kid...has a good upside...

Kidding is not coming. No way we offer and even if we did, the contract structure would cause him to decline. There would be so many clauses in the contract, lane would be handicapped. Lane is way to arrogant to accept what would be required.

He is a talented in-state prospect at a position of great need. I hope he can be talked out of it by the new coach, but all of these transfers will be a price worth paying if we do finally get the right coach here. In the long run, it's more than worth the trade off.

Why in the ever living hell would he not wait 5 damn days and see who the new coach will be? That portal isn’t going anywhere. And if he transfers he’ll have to sit out a year. That’s precious time man. These kids only get a few year to play. I just don’t get it.

Is there any downside to a kid entering the portal and then rejoining the team? Seems like an easy way to get attention that could get abused. Not saying that’s what some of these kids are doing but just a thought in general
