Ya, didn't mean for it to come across that they were screwing around trying to let Georgia win, but they looked pitiful out there. Almost like they were trying to look worse than the Georgia offense.
1. Run the ball effectively on offense.
2. Stop the run on defense.
3. Give Ainge time to throw the ball without having to scramble for his life or having 2-3 players draped all over him as he releases the pass (This goes hand-in-hand with #1 above).
4. Keep turnovers to a minimum (no more than 1 turnover)
5. Don't make stupid penalties. We've done an unusually good job of this so far this season. This has to be Cutcliffe's influence.
6. Punt the ball out of bounds and don't let Georgia return a single punt the entire game.
Rules 1-5 apply equally to the Alabama and LSU games.
IMO the biggest key to the game is to protect ainge and have the ability to run just enough to keep them honest. maybe hit a couple of big plays early and take the crowd out of the game. but the game will be won by the o-line & d-line they must control both
if we have to bring lb's to get pressure on their qb's our D is in trouble i dont see that happening but it could. i dont think their db's can stay w/ our recievers i'm looking for alot of big plays. i look for UT to use the pass to set up the run.
