Barnett, Vereen and the Dline has to play lights out and exert constant pressure on their QB. The secondary must be alert for opportunities for picks and hold onto the ball when they occur. Not just almost intercepting, but making the pick.

Dobbs must run with complete abandon this Saturday, without fear of injury or anything else. That is his real strength and he must recognize an open field and not bounce around too long when protection breaks down.

Absolutely vital to throw some downfield passes to guys who have shown they can go up and take the ball from defenders. Malone and Jennings have to play smart and keep defenders from making a pick on an errant pass. Fla will try to stack the line and we have to make them pay if we want to have success with the run game as well.

Everything is on the OL and how they handle the pressure that Florida is going to put on our line

They are going to throw in a lot of run blitz to throw off our "finesse" offense. Blitz from the corners to stop the end arounds. After 3 games, there is no threat from the vertical game, so Florida can squeeze up on D.

If like to see us throw deep a couple of times. I know crazy, but if intercepted and stopped at the catch, it is essentially like punting anyway.

I like all of these. The emphasis I could see being vital is on our DL and blitzing. Somehow we aren't getting the sacks and tfl's just rushing 4. Barnett has been in the QBs grill all three games, but inexplicably no sacks. We have to make Del Rio's backup be afraid of those footsteps and make some really nervous throws. Along with that, we must make sure we don't allow those short passes to combat the blitz.

For the OL...just do the best you can. It may be crucial to start using I form, so I pray we really have been saving that. Gotta use that Kamara-Hurd backfield combo more too.

The team has to look at this game as do or die. It may only be one game but it is also THE game. We need this win as a fan base more than any other from a psychological standpoint. 12 in a row would simly be devastating on every level.

it'll be about opportunities. WR's will get 1 on 1 match ups, they won't feel the necessity to stack the box. Malone and Jennings will have to continue to win 50/50 balls when they get the chances.

we have to run the ball. even though it will be annoying to watch us run in to a brick wall a lot of the time.

special teams has to be great. Medley can't be Medley, and field position will be huge with their offensive ?'s.

defensively...if we get a shot at turnovers, gotta get 'em. can't drop picks, can't lose 50/50 on fumbles. 1st down defense will be important. if they run the ball on 1st down with success, it could be bad.

coaching...don't coach scared. we can't coach not to lose. the defense presents an obvious challenge, but that aggresiveness can be taken advantage of, so long as we make a concerted effort to get the ball going north south. east west won't work against this defense. run right at 'em. trust the defense enough to not shackle the offense.

trick plays. we pulled out a couple last year, i think we should probably expect to see a couple more.

Agree. If they can get this monkey off their back, it could change everything.

Only key- score 1 more point than them. That has been their key last 2 years right?

Yep. Though a larger score would be preferable, of course, realistically most magnetrons in usage today are indicating a 14-13 or 16-14 kind of result. And that would be fine if we are on the winning end this time. 1 point is all that counted the last 2 years and it wouldn't surprise me if a similar result happened this year. I have a distinct feeling this is going to be a game that should be avoided if your heart is not up to taking extreme stress.

Florida won't throw much and neither will we. Key is going to be in stopping the run. It's been a theme in this series. Whoever we have playing CB and NB better be ready for the out route to Calloway. I just don't think they trust Appleby enough to take too many shots down field.
