Key Matchup vs. A&M: Rashaan Gaulden vs Christian Kirk

There's no guarantee that Gaulden will be taking Kirk one on one though D4H. It could be Foreman or Moseley or even Martin if he's off the craplist of Butch yet.

I'm sure he will be on him a little but he's not going to follow Kirk around wherever he lines up buddy.

That's not the way CBJ coaches. Baylen Buchanan could end up on him more than Gaulden to be honest if Martin is still in the doghouse. Thanks!

If Martin is matched up against Kirk.........or really any WR with a pulse, we are in trouble. He has absolutely no awareness. All the physical abilities in the world, just doesn't have a nose for the football. Hopefully a "week off" has refocused him.

I think an interesting matchup is that their top DB recruit from the 2014 class (Harvey) will be matched up with our top WR from that same class (Malone). Hopefully he scorches his a** all day. Oh they have Christian Kirk? We have Josh Malone and Jauan FREAKING Jennings!!! :rock:

Kirk has been a disappointment this season, he was sensational last year and has looked very hesitant and slow so far this year. I actually think the biggest matchup is our o-line vs. your front 7, that will decide the game.

Kirk scares me more then anything on this game....

I'd be more worried about Josh Reynolds than Kirk.

I am worried about theur WR corps as a whole. They are absolutely stacked with talent. We dont have a lockdown CB anyomre.

The usual story this season is the opposing line getting traction early but being unable to block us in the second half. Barnett's second half play gets a lot of attention, but part of what works for us is having a full 8-man rotation on the line without a steep drop off. Certainly not all of them are all-SEC performers but they all have discipline and strength.
