Re: Maze

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok with the rumors that maze is a UT lean what is going to happen to Ramar Smith and Duke Crews I mean both were good basketball players and does anyone know why they were dismissed from the team I mean do you think there is a chance that we could use them I mean just a thought nothing concrete.

I would love for Ramar to be their point guard when we play them. Kentucky would have 20 turnovers and 15 missed circus layups in the first half alone.

not to mention all the missed FT's.

I do like Ramar though and hate the way it ended for him. I wish him the best and hope he further develops into the player we all that he could be.

is he serious....they both will be lucky to get into tennessee state....no team wants a headache on there team especially one as mediocre as ramar, i think Duke has a chance hes a good player.

Given Maze's past, doesn't he seem to be "headache" material?

WTF, Ramar has a bad year and he is mediocre? Wow, just wow.

he wasnt a good enough player for CBP to overlook his off court and academic problems. can you honestly tell me that if Tyler Smith had the same troubles he would be Dismissed like Ramar was?

If Pearl has any character he would have. Ramar was a 5 star shooting guard playing out of posistion.

Plus, no one thought Ramar was so bad his frosh year.

if hes a 5* i dont see the difficulty in going from SG to PG, its not about character. its the fact that he wasnt THAT valuable to us unfortunately

If Ramr and and Tyler both got in the same amount of trouble and Pearl only kicked off Ramar that would have to do with character.

Also, I don't know many that think Ramar wasnt valuable, especially for next year.

with MAZE and HOPSON coming next season...ramar was getting less valuable every second....you got me on the character thing but as a bball coach you have to do whats best for the team.....TYLER is the rock of our team this upcoming year just like Lofton had been this year..your not going to kick ur rock off so admitadley it would be a very tough decission to make

We would rather have than not have R. Smith next year. That shouldn't even be debatable.

If Kentucky were to get these guys they would have to wait a year while they sat out anyways. LOL...

I also hate this for Ramar, but I guess he did it to himself. He had a down year this past year, but I thought he showed glimpse of greatness his frosh year.

He was a 5 star shooting guard? I never thought he had much of a shot and a shooting guard should be able to step up and hit at least 8/10 FTs.

Yes Ramar was a 5*.

And I VD, I Tyler Smith is a good person from what I understand, so I didn't mean that he would even ever be in trouble. So hopefully you just understood what I was trying to say.

I don't think they care. Hood just commited to them instead of UT.

It's back to even now.

That doesn't make it even by my count. Hood is instate. So was Darius Miller. And, we got Hopson, a 5*, out of KY. When players from areas like Chattanooga and Cleveland, TN, pick UK over UT, then I'll be worried.

If Hood would have committed to UT, and I'm not sure we would even have had room in the '09 class right now, it would have been a reason for UK fans to panic. UK keeping him was expected all along. UT lost nothing there.
