Kentucky Game Total Embarrassment

The Kentucky game was a total embarrassments as the Lady Vols were both out coached and out played. The only good number from the game was 13 turnovers which is exceptionally low for this team. They were behind by 9 points at the start of the game and could have ended up losing by 12 points instead of 10. Key was absolutely no factor in the last two games sitting on the bench with 2 fouls in the first half. Although the Lady Vols beat Kentucky badly in the previous game, it appears that they took this one as an easy win to be. The Kentucky coach Elzy had her team prepared and totally embarrassed the Lady Vols in the results.

You just pointed out why Key wasn't a factor!!! Fouls!!! Can't play if they won't let you!

Different UK team and Tennessee team from that first matchup. Green roughed them up first time around and UK was having serious chemistry issues. UK has easily been the 2nd best SEC team in the 2nd half of the season.

This team kept fighting. They had Howard and she didn’t take a vacation day, which makes their other players better. Snoop was a beast, but her twos can’t cancel KY being hot from the three. Am I disappointed over some of the execution, yes. But there is nothing about Kellie or this team that is an embarrassment.

Tennessee may be a three seed in the NCAA and definitely a four seed without a doubt I think that means were a top 16 team on the country with our overall body of work. Injuries cannot be helped nor can occasionally upsets, but overall when we had our entire teams healthy we were top ten in the country.

If u think a team that lost 3 to 4 key players is a total embarrassment, I would love to see u coach a team. They bet LSU with a better team than us, 4 graduates players and non of their fans call them embarrassment. Close ur mouth if u don't know how to open it. Key, Tess & walker didn't play well but good players sometimes are like that dosen't mean we should insult them. U praise 👏 them when they win but call them embarrassment when they didn't play well.

Kentucky was embarrassed by 25 when we had everyone healthy and almost totally certain they would've lost last night as well with everyone healthy. We can't expect as much from the current team as we could before Green and later Horston got injured not going to make us a better team that two key players are gone. Anyone that can't understand that just doesn't understand how injuries affect teams. We'll have trouble winning going forward no doubt, but still hope we can finish at least two wins at home and have a shot at another team somewhere.

A tough game for our ladies, he had opportunities to win, but Kentucky was just better overall. It's really a reversal of fortunes. Kentucky was beset with injuries when we played them earlier, and now here we are in the same position at the end of the season. Both Kyra and Kellie coached equally well based on their team's current make up, but when you don't have certain players in your line up, you may not be able to make up or overcome what they bring to the floor on a night to night basis.

The results of two top players being injured. Please don't take that into account when you make your assessment of the present team. Also don't remember when they were playing we won by 25.

Does everyone realize that Howard is from Cleveland, Tennessee and did not chose to attend Tennessee because Coach Warlick was so bad that she chose to go elsewhere?

Yes, we did lose a couple of players due to injury. What remained did not play well at all. Kentucky players wanted that game more than our players and that were a success too. Elzy is a great coach and one of the best defensive coaches to ever play at Tennessee.

The Lady Vols lost two extremely important players to injuries the last month. But that doesn’t match your narrative so……….
