The favorite may win. But anyone who bets the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby gets what he deserves, which is almost always a worthless piece of paper.

I have a golf game set for the 5th, so I'm going to skip it. Besides, your guess is as good as mine. Seriously, with 20 graded-level horses, and three year olds at that, you might as well throw a dart at the program and bet it that way.

I'll go sometime soon.

The favorite wins 1/3 of all races, simple as that...good odds overall...but at the Derby, you have horses from all over the country, who have raced against horses of different classes...It's a bettor's nightmare...If you want to make money, bet on Mountaineer or Prairie Downs...The Derby is much better to watch as a spectacle than as a bettor

Correction, you'd win more like $1500.

Also, I just watched replays of the Gotham and the Illinois Derby. Definitely a live horse and I can't see him going off 20-1.

Don't worry, Hank Goldberg will tout the horse, turn him into the wise guy pick, guaranteeing that after the race they have to shoot him.

I love to watch the Derby but I will be at work when the race begins, Who is the favorite this year?
