It doesn't matter with our rushing attack being as bad as it is..... plus the D got gashed by SC..... hope springs eternal but my money is on an ass whooping

nah. Should at least be close, as long as Vols are motivated

Funny but to this point, we have only had 3 common opponents thus far into the season:

FL: Kentucky (a) got them early before they figured things out and we made too many mistakes to compete with FL at home.
SCAR: Kentucky beat them 24-10 at Lexington and we lost to them on the road by 3. Bentley was in a funk when they played them. It was a bad day for us on defense and OL yet we almost pulled it out.
GA: we played the Dogs better on the road than Kentucky did at home. Granted Georgia was playing better football last week than when they played us.
So basically common opponents don't mean a lot. SCAR and Florida played better football against us than KY. GA played better football against KY than us.
Tennessee since bye week, 4 weeks of grueling SEC play (@Aub, AL, @SCar) plus Charlotte, a game we should feel pizzed off about.
Kentucky 3 weeks of SEC play since bye week: Vandy, @Mizzou, Georgia but the last game was very painful both physically and mentally.
We get home field advantage, although FWIW JG has played better on the road thus far this season.
One thing is for sure, we can't let their OL wear us out. Must be real good on 3rd down conversions and 3rd down stops.
Maybe just stack the box with nine and make Wilson throw a few ints.

I guess I'm always a sunshine pumper but I feel like we will find a way this weekend.

I'm pretty confident that we play better against Kentucky than we did against Charlotte... but for the first time I can ever remember saying this... Kentucky has the better team. They are going to eat us up on the ground and my guess is that we lose the game.

I'm really confused how 38-12 is closer than 34-17 with the total yards being 209:441 vs. 310:444
