does no one understand its about money and popularity. obviously he is at UT fan to make the bet. but if he is playing a concert in gainsville, he will do what he has to do to make his fans happy that are there. if he had a concert in miami, he would most likey come out in a miami jersey or do something for the fans so that they feel connected. its just like when you go to a concert at tba, the artist at some point will sing rocky top cause that will make everyone happy.

these two quotes go hand in hand. I've seen Kenny Chesney play here (where he got his start) and he barely mentioned anything about home, ETSU, or even UT. It was just another stop for him. I heard him at Virginia Beach, and while he brought up the ocean, he never did anything to in his concert with the area.

So i'm not buying the playing it up for his fans argument. Quite simply, Kenny Chesney is a tool. And he's no longer a real country music performer, so I think in honor of actual country music singers, we should quit calling him country.
