That's why he didn't participate in the scrimmage against Davidson per VQ...

New As I noted in previous post on scrimmage Ray Kasongo did not take part. In inquiring as to why discovered that he has an eligibility issue that Tennesee is dealing with. Right now he is cleared to practice but not cleared for competition.

I don't have any details on timetable but it's a transcript issue that Tennessee hopes to have resolved shortly.

Why would you bring not one but two guys in with eligibility issues?

Glad he didn't pass on Turner. He might have to sit out a year but he'll be a great player for 4+ years now. It's strange this is the first we are hearing about Kasongo though.

Should have taken Another PG as well . We have an open spot and now that might be 3

The ncaa is so "fair and balanced", especially toward UT, that they'll surely clear him before it's too late.

Hell....the NCAA should just declare our entire damned team ineligible and forfeit the f-ing season. Let the gator football team play an ineligible player and it's all fine...after the fact, but nuke the team in Knoxville. Like we were going to be a threat in the conference this season? Just another example of those clowns trying to look like they're doing a job.

I blame BTO,Bruin,AuntieDee and people who pour chocolate milk into cereal for Kasongo's eligibility issue.
