Anyone know anything about their football program other than they suck? There is a chance we may move from Jefferson City to Karns and I would like to know more about their football team. My boys play but it will be a while before they get to high school.

I would love to move to Maryville or Farragut since I work in Maryville.

I went to Karns for my 1st and 2nd year of highschool. They aren't know for a great football program but one thing is a fact those people love there football. Great people

Karns has never had any success in football. It's really unexplainable. With the population growth in that area of the county, there should be more quality athletes and teams. I think the addition of Hardin Valley Academy to the same area will damage any upcoming chance of any improvement.

Went to Karns myself, we were never any good but it was a decent school.

My cousin is a coach there. They have really been hurt by the Hardin Valley school. All the kids are going there.

Does Karns High have a Hostess Program? LOL!

My kids would be zoned for Karns Emementary, Middle, and High Schools. I know you can request a transfer but I'm not sure how it works or what it costs.

Are they zoned for HVHS or just transferring over there?

I know Karns got a new coach a few years ago. Is he going to be able to turn the program around or is football an afterthought there?

I'd check the where the zoning lines are and try to get zoned for HVA. They're young and haven't had time in the gym yet, but I think they'll have more success in the near future than Karns.

We will be within walking distance of Karns Elementary and Middle Schools. I doubt we would be able to get zoned for HVA.

Maybe they will get it turned around by the time my boys get there. My oldest will enter the 6th grade in the fall.

Anyone know anything about Park & Rec football in Knoxville? My boys have played for the Jefferson City Patriots the last two years. My oldest was the quarterback for the peewee team. He scored 13 of his team's 16 touchdowns.

They only have won about 2-3 games as long as I can remember. Maybe they'll turn it around for you but with how far behind they are compared to other area high schools in the same division, It'll take a while.
