I'm 50/50. I could see winning as many as 11 games. I can also see us go 7-5. We have plenty of talent but we are basically replacing our entire offense. I'm a firm believer in Nico but it's gonna be hard to take that next step if he's running for his life all game. One upside is we have one of the easier SEC schedules this year. Our Defense should be stout once again so it's not all doom and gloom.

In no way could I see us losing 5 games. our OL will be better than last year with the two transfers and Satterwhite taking over at C. Yeah Mays was awesome but Satterwhite is ready imo. We will have better depth. karic was just ok. Each of the IOL we brought in will be better.

Agree with the bold comments. Five losses in Heupel's fifth year would be very puzzling especially since the program is in much better shape. The down or transition years will probably look like what we saw with Milton in 2023.

Here is the thing.. we only actually play 3 games that matter a year. When I say my expectations it’s against bama,Uga, and UF. I don’t care about the vandy game. We are gonna get our wins but the line between 1 loss , 2 loss, and 3 loss are much larger than people think. When I say not have a good year I don’t mean lose to Vandy or Georgia state

Losing to Arkansas last year mattered. Sure, Bama, GA, and FL are big games but ALL the other games matter because taking anyone in the SEC lightly is a very, very bad idea.

It's definitely not a "good year" even if we beat Bama, GA, and FL and drop a couple of road games we should win.

ALL the games matter.

Hope you are right. If we win 10, we have to beat either Georgia, Florida, or the Gumps and 2 of those are road games. Also we can't lose to a team we are supposed to beat

They don’t… we lost to ark. WE don’t lose to them. We are a way better program. One offs don’t count

We lost to SC in 2022. We lost to Arkansas in 2019 too and I'm sure other SEC losses that aren't AL, GA, or FL. We have lost a game, usually on the road, routinely to an SEC and even non conference teams.

Acting like we're Saban's Bama that lost 5 or 6 games in the SEC over 10 years is just not reality.

No im not at all. What is saying is those games don’t matter. Like they just don’t. We lost to ark and went 10-2… and we played terribleeeeee.. week earlier too at OU ! I was there !



Also hendon got hurt numbs in that sc game

If you think the SC loss by 30+ was JUST because Hooker was injured, you're not looking at reality.

ALL the SEC games matter. There are no "sure wins" and pretending we're all that and a bag of chips better than all the SEC teams except AL, GA, and FL is just not true. All the games are potential losses in the SEC.

I don't disagree. I see 7-5 being our absolute floor but imo it could happen. You can never take anything for granted in the SEC. We are talented enough to beat everyone even UGA. That being said UGA, Florida, Bama, Oklahoma, and even Arkansas are talented enough to beat us. My heart says we go 10-2 again. My gut says 9-3. WRs have got to play better and the O-line has to gel for us to make it back to the playoff.

Oh ok my bad. Well we aren’t beating UGA. Bama and UF are gonna be really tough road games. I think we can win those.

In my honest opinion.. and I have said it for years. Depth Depth Depth. How awesome was it having an absolutely filthy Dline last two years? When does that transfer to all positions? When that happens we win against uga consistently (not 1 offs) and actually complete for a natty. Transfer portal really hurts here but that is what we need. I’ll say it until it happens with the right coach
