I don't post in the Politics forum too often, but I found this to be pretty interesting. Personally, I'm all for it.

Kansas, Arizona Prevail in Voter Citizenship Suit - ABC News

Federal officials must help Kansas and Arizona enforce laws requiring new voters to document their U.S. citizenship, a federal judge ruled Wednesday, in a decision that could encourage other Republican-led states to consider similar policies.

Remove dead people from the voter rolls and the Dumbass-o-crats are in trouble. Felons, dead people, and illegal aliens are a reliable voting block for the Left.

I'm sure Eric Holder will file an injunction right before the elections which will not only nullify this for the time being, but will not allow the states the time to make their cases.

I wonder if there will be a committee formed to follow up & check to be sure that the feds are indeed doing what was asked of them to do?

More GOP hugs for the Hispanic community.

Very smart politics.

Not all Hispanics are illegal, and those that are legal aren't affected by this, so what's the issue? This shouldn't be a political issue but a national security issue.

I'm sure that the Hispanic community at large will view this as the GOP really concerned about their best interests and just making sure they are safe and sound. Probably throw the governors behind this a big party, with unicorns and gumdrop rivers.

Again, what does this have to do with the Hispanic community? This only affects people that are not allowed by law to vote anyway.

And if you think that the Hispanic community will perceive it that way then you are a bigger idiot than I've given you credit for to date. Which would be really tough to do.

Why should it offend the Hispanic community? It's a simple question. Again, there are plenty of Hispanics that are legal residents. Do you think that anyone that lives in this country should be allowed to vote regardless of their legal status?

That's exactly how the law abiding legal Hispanics will see it, you really need to get out more often.

More GOP hugs for the Hispanic community.

Very smart politics.

More & more voters for the Democratic Party are finally finding out & realizing that the Dems they voted for are the party of lies & deceit. So yes, it does make for more hugs in being honest & showing some leadership qualities instead of showing incompetence & constant BS from day to day gets old & leads people to develop depression problems.

I can't see how they might perceive it as an effort to reduce their political power.

Simple question for LG

Do you think non-citizens should be prevented from voting?

Depends. I tend to place higher linkage on voting to being a resident than the legalities of citizenship. If an illegal had a residence, a family, a job, firm roots to the community then I'd hope they could vote.

Regardless, the fact is that these efforts are perceived as designed to reduce their voting power, not to prevent fraud. That perception is what counts but the GOP just insists on pursuing it.

Every thing listed above is illegal. This confirms you are not an attorney

Dem voting power equates to fraud, your party would be lost without all the illegals, dead people, etc.
