Get ready to fill some voids with Juco's folk.

There's still a lot of guys we are in play for. A proven coach can land any of the players I mentioned above that have interest in UT. I think we could easily have this class a top 15 with the right coach.

Xanax... I may recommend for some of you.

We'll have a full, and likely better class by signing day as we have always had during coaching transitions.

You can't let the choices of a 17 year old stranger affect your day.

Xanax will only help them deal with the symptoms... This board has much more deeply rooted psychological issues it needs help with that a Xanax prescription can't come close to solving...

Yeah I know Carr, Harris, and Bradley might be headed to Ole Miss. Also my cousin goes to Butler with Ferguson ummmm that's not looking too good for us either BAMA is what he been thinking. North will probably commit to clemson. Basically we could possibly loose every 4 star and decent commit we have

Lol, that would require actually having a committable offer to Bama which he does not have and Bama is not going to take three QBs. Also, you couldn't be more wrong about Harris.

Ferguson's quote on the (inevitable, IMO) coaching change:

Quote:
“I’m worried about it, of course,” Ferguson said. “He’s the head coach and stuff like that. It just worries me right now, but they haven’t fired him or nothing like that, so I’m not really listening to anything until something actually happens.

“But I’m committed to Tennessee for Tennessee. I mean, the coaches there, you have to like them and stuff, but I’m going there because of the school.

“I mean, it’s going to affect me a little bit, but I don’t know if that would change my decision or anything like that.”

He said he would be interested in getting to know the Vols’ new coaches if Dooley isn’t retained. But he said he doesn’t have any interest in exploring other options, and he doesn’t expect to waver on his commitment.

“If that does happen,” Ferguson said, “I’ll just have to get close to the coaches that come in and just start working with them so we can go win some games.”

Carr just wants to know who the coach is and if it is someone he can believe in IMO...I'd be surprised if he did anything before the hire is announced and he gets a chance to talk to the guy...

I don't think he'll decommit or reaffirm his commitment until that happens...and I get the feeling that he wants to be a Vol and just needs confidence in who the next guy is

Hopefully Tennessee can keep Dooley, so they can keep some stability for the program and salvage the rest of this class. Seriously though, I think everyone saw this one coming for a little bit now. You can't really blame him.

Are you serious??? Keep Dooley so we can keep some stability? Yes, stability and 5-6 wins a year. That sounds like an awesome plan. :dance2:

Unless the AD gets stuff together, TN football could become irrevalent for years to come.

As far as we are down that road, I would say the GPS is ready to reroute that way at any time. Only a few were able to see this coming back in 08' when the fire Phil jubilation raged.

It seemed everyone focused on how the program had fallen from the late 90s. It had. But I'm old enuf to remember the 70s. That was the possibility I feared. I'm sorry to say, it appears we are at that doorstep. Unless we miraculously land a NS style replacement, it looks like back to 1975 for the mighty Vols.

i am very suprised another sec school would actually want someone dooley is recruiting especially playing in the secondary. dooley and his asst. coaches have recruited the slowest secondary players in the history of the sec. i was hoping mcneil would at least be fast but on the first play of the second half i saw the mo. running back leave him in the dust i knew he couldn't play either. can't coach speed..better recruit it.

Stupid statement.... All around stupid post..

The problem isn't that McNeil couldn't catch the opposing RB. The problem is that our opponents RB's are getting to that level of our defense in the first place..... Regularly...

You obviously are either confused or stupid (probably both) since the reason he did decommitt is the inevitability of the coaching staff being gone.

It's ok buddy. It went over your head. It happens. I won't hold it against you since you obviously are either confused or stupid (probably both).

... It was obvious sarcasm. The guy you quoted said "seriously though" those were the key words for comprehension purposes.
