What's the real story on this guy? Earlier on, posters were saying that he didn't de commit, but Bama chose not to offer him because of off the field issues. What do some of our experts hear on this?
BS. This kid is a solid prospect and if UT, UF, or UA could land him, they would keep him. This isn't the same thing as the Victor Hampton issue where the kid got kicked off his team and UF let him go.
James is a solid student and keeps out of trouble. Many fans just assume if a kid reopens his recruiting that the school doesn't want them or they got in trouble or something simply because they are a fan of that particular school. Sometimes this can be true but many Florida/Bama fans--and in some instances our fans--just cannot accept someone wouldn't wanna go to their school so that is the easy out. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!
From what I have heard, the kid is a good kid with good grades and doesn't get into any trouble. Some other schools may be telling him that "you can come in and play right away where as you may have to redshirt at BAMA." BAMA has built alot of depth since CNS arrival so this could be the reason for him to reopen his recruitment. It could be he committed so early and now wants the chance to "take trips to enjoy the process." No one knows what goes on in the mind of these kids. BAMA is still among his choices so who knows.
