Coach Jones had said yesterday that he would still have to earn his way onto the travel squad. I hope that is just coach talk. We NEED him!

Hope Martin can start playing better and get his head on straight. Do not remember this guy getting burnt so much last year. Wonder why he has regressed?

I hope he does EARN his way. Martin is not the lynchpin of this defense by a long shot. He is a young, very athletic corner with a ton of upside, who has done nothing but rack up penalties and get burned. He needs to EARN his spot so he can fulfill his potential on team 120. Otherwise he's just a liability on a team that needs no distractions.

I think B. Buchanan has done an admirable job in his place. Not a bad thought if Martin goes to Kyle field to spectate from the sidelines.

I really thought martin would be a lock down cb but the only thing going for him is his height i trust foreman more than martin. Why have they not tryed warrior or Osborne there yet at least thought warrior would have a immediate impact. From what i saw at the all american under armor game tyler byrd was a lock down cb love to see byrd go both ways like jabrial peppers from UM. Its not like he will tire out he only gets 5 targets a game. Also we need major help at DB

We will need Martin on some of their 4 WR sets to cover their length on the sideline.

Martin and Gauldin are our two longest DB's. They are going to see plenty of time.

Shoop sees Martin everyday in practice but IMHO the only CB we had that could be put on an island without getting burned was Cam. They tried to use Martin in Cam's role and he bit on the stop and go with Callaway with no safety help over the top and got burned. Then just got beat on an awesome throw on the 2nd one. Martin is a very good college CB but we just don't have a true lock down corner left on the roster. I don't think he is regressing he just wasn't a match for Callaway one on one.

If it is the Martin that got beat by Callaway he can stay home... oh wait didn't Sr. Foreman get beat by Freshman Georgia wr.

Let me guess, he should be starting over Mosley too?

He needs to get a lot better before we NEED him.

I hope he has a break out game but for now, he scares me to death.

We need him for this game.

Texas A&M WR's are big and long.

We need Martin's length this game. Especially in 4 and 5 WR sets.

Well if he has a bad attitude no we don't. But he is the best healthy CB we have so from that prospective yes we need him as A&M has two guys the caliber of Florida's Callaway in Noils and Seals-Jones. As far as Martin and Foreman getting beat we don't have any CB's that can cover good WR's without safety help. That doesn't mean they aren't any good it just means they are not first round NFL good like Cam.

Getting beat I can handle. You'll get beat in this league from time to time.

It's the stupid penalties I have a problem with.

Easily fixed.

We need his length badly this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gauldin is asked to take an outside assignment this game either.


He's our longest and plays NB for some reason.

Maybe but he's doing such a good job on slot receivers I would hate to move him and then get worse at both NB and CB.

If Michael Jordan had your mentality, he would have stopped basketball in high school.

We do need him. We need Jumper. We need Moseley. We need Gaulden. Barnett, Vereen and many more.

You can give up on the kid if that makes you feel better, but we don't need your loser attitude...

Maybe that kick in the butt is exactly what he needed to play like he is capable of playing. Tennessee will need all the help they can get against the 4 sets.
