There has to be another answer in the secondary than Justin Martin. The kid is always behind the receiver and refuses to turn his head to make a play on the ball. If he does make a play he gets flagged for not turning his head to the ball. Shoop needs to make a change,,,

Hell have time to grow. I think Abernathy, Buchanan, Gaulden and even Moseley had pretty good games. I think we will be ok there.

They did...he was benched in favor of Baylen Buchanan

Yeah, Danielson kept saying Martin during the broadcast but Jones and co. had already moved on from that train wreck.
Not saying Martin can't play but he sure let his emotions mind **** him. I hope he can recover and be a solid back up. We need him down the stretch til Sutton gets back for the SECCG.

Buchanan has amazed me to this point and he may end up being the next Sutton. A 3 star freshman that is playing like a junior

Martin looked pretty bad yesterday. He may have to really go take his spot back if he wants it bad enough bacause Buchanan looks good as a freshman.

Agree on Martin but I don't think his career is done. He just needs some time. Mosely's light went on against Florida and I think at some point the same happens for Martin.

I am kind of surprised by Martin. He seems to be underperforming a little. Hopefully he picks his game up.

We rode Jumpers ass relentlessly and even Doug Matthews made comments on him. And this weekend in the biggest game of the Jones era I think he was 2nd in tackles? And I saw him make several plays.

He's on the depth chart so we need to fix him. And I'm sure the kid knows exactly how he's playing too and wants to fix it

But , but, but, everybody said he should've been starting ahead of Mosley all along. Guess they know now why he wasn't.

Jumper made a few plays but he is without a doubt the weakest link.

Everyone played tight in the first half...I think he was exposed on a couple of plays and got yanked but let's not give up on the kid...he was starting because he earned it...Let's agree we all have bad days and hope he puts this behind him...I'll take a pick 6 in any of the next three games from Mr Martin! Just saying he got better and is actually reasonably serviceable now. And am hoping the same for Martin. That's it. Of course a healthy DKjr goes to the head of the line

He made some very bone-headed plays. He just needs to play smarter/be more focused.

The play of Jumper in the second half was about as good as anyone on our defense. His 3rd and 1 stop was huge. Several times he was able to get other players into the correct position to make plays. Jumper could turn out to be much better than any fan thinks he is. The coaches and team believe in him way more than the fans do. I respectfully disagree with you.

Im sorry, he showed me he isn't that weak. If he is, it is a good sign considering he has now showed he has been coached up. We rip a kid and coaches, while refusing to acknowledge areas of improvement. Jones and staff should get credit for improving Jumper while praising the kid for not listening to the fanbase.

You do know he, (Martin) is playing with a high ankle sprain don't you? If Cam wasn't hurt, he probably would have been in street clothes and a boot Saturday. Kids got a pair and he gave all he had.. He has been battling the ankle since before APPy St and seriously hurt it at Va tech. Give him a little understanding. He played hurt.

Jumper will get exposed so don't get too comfortable....I saw him get run over in the hole a few times....and on Florida's 1st TD, they specifically ran a play that would target Jumper.....result: TD

umm no... you cant just say something because you want it to be true there is tape and facts that refute what you say. the person that was targeted in the first TD is mentioned in this thread and it was not Jumper.
