The Top 10 Biggest Freaks in College Football

Gotta love the fact that Hunter made this list! He really is a true freak. Didn't realize he was an elite track and field athlete in addition to being a freak on the football field. Runs a 4.3 with a 26 foot long jump! Guy is a true physical speciman! In my opinion he is top 3.

My list:
1) Richardson
2) Martin
3) Hunter

Clowney needs to bulk up some more in a college training program before he really starts to shine...he won't be able to just speed rush off the end in College all time like he did in High School.

clowney is a monster and is going to be a star

let's have the kid play against a couple teams that matter before we start crowning him a monster...not saying he won't be one, but jury is still out..

no doubt he was good in highschool.. but that alone does not = CFB success, it takes a ton of hard work and good coaching to make that happen.

Richardson is a scary dude... not as scary Boudreaux though weighs 239 and can rep 225 50 times on bench!! That is out of this world strength

I'm sure he will at the very least be a good player but not sure he will live up to the hype. He comes across as a Terrell Pryor type guy tbe way he acts.

While a big Hunter fan the one area I think people may need to temper things a bit is pure speed. He isn't THAT fast, at least not in the true "burner" sense. The best official times I know of for Hunter coming into UT are 10.99 for the 100m and 21.62 for the 200m. That's by no means slow (especially the 200m) but to put things in perspective Zach Rogers has officially gone 10.80/21.48 and Devrin Young has gone 10.70 in the 100. I point this out as neither of those guys, while acknowledged as fast, are generally thought of burners by our fanbase.

Hunter is tall, can jump like a gazelle and is plenty "fast enough" to become something pretty special at WR. He still needs to put in some more time at the training table and weight room though IMO.

So having to come from behind against ECU made that much of an impact.

Don't know, but the statement was "he hasn't even played a down in college football", yet he started last week.

I'm bustin' chops today.

Against Boise St. he had 60 yds on 15 carries; 4.0 ypc.

Well find us someone who can catch him from behind on gameday because I ain't seen it happen yet! Justin gets a step, he's gone! Then if the ball is underthrown, he can outjump you for it! Glad he's on my team! Same rule applies with Da'Rick.

To reiterate I clearly stated "plenty fast enough", especially if he's out in the open and in top gear. (note the much more impressive 200 time vs 100) All I'm saying (and empirically demonstrating) is that, comparitively speaking, there's nothing "special" about his pure speed...even on just our own roster. He's pretty special by most of the other measurables though.
