in 2 yrs... if we have a good QB to develop and can get the ball to Hunter and Rogers, they both will have 1000 yr season with 8 - 10 TD and will be the dynamic duo for the Big Orange. I am stoked about what they can do. I just hope they both realize what they can do and push each other in practice to get better and stronger. If they do they will be unstoppable!!

Teague, Milton, Rogers, Meline and Hunter have the chance to be one of the best receiver groups we've ever had in 2011-2012.

Think if we add Arnett as well this year!

I have Da'freak as my profile pick because he is my favorite player out of the 10 class, next to James Stone and Jacques Smith, so no discredit to Da'freak. I am just really impressed with both of these guys and I think they can both be great receivers for UT. GBO!

Way too early to tell obviously, but I think Justin Hunter is a very special athlete (may be eventually compared to Willie Gault). He is a track star and will be a lights out receiver for the Vols. Dude has some serious ups...

Alvin Harper would be a much better comparison to Hunter(both high jumpers), but why pit one against the other hunter>rogers. Thats idiotic, just be thankful for Dooley, because if dicweed was still here neither of those recievers would be!!! V,B

When I was coaching I recruited the Hampton Roads area. I believe Jim Prince is still the coach at Ocean Lakes. If that is still the case, I will tell you this, the WR's at his HS are not the most "college prepared" players in the area, if you catch my drift.

I had one kid who caught maybe 15-20 balls as a senior, came to us very raw, and by his sophomore season with us he put up 64 rec, 1178 yards, and 10 TD's in only 10 games. Granted, it was at the lower college level, but the point remains the same.

If Hunter gets coached up at UT the sky is the limit for him. Rogers and Hunter have a chance to be a dominant 1-2 punch for UT down the road if Bray turns out to be a legit QB.

I don't think he's there anymore. Chris Scott took over.

Thanks for clearing that up! It has been a couple of seasons since I followed up on HS football in Tidewater.

Our class would have been Ambles, Milton, Meline, Hunter, and Prater or Rogers if Kiffin had stayed.

Chris Scott took over two years ago, they have only one loss on the field in two years and that was to Oscar Smith HS in the Regionals in 2008.

Due to what was determined an ineligible player their record this past season had 6 losses, however, on the field they beat everybody.

They run a spread offense and Hunter was the featured receiver. This year he was often double and triple teamed.

It'll be interesting for sure to see which player ends up better....IMO I think Da'Rick has a chance to be really special

If we land an elite WR this year (Arnett) I wouldn't be shocked to see Teague or Meline moved to CB and Milton (with an extra 25 to 35lbs) moved to TE...

Before I get killed...if we're seriously recruiting Rory Anderson who's 6'4" 200 with narrow shoulders (i.e. not a great frame for weight gain) is it hard to believe we would consider moving a playmaker like Milton who's already 6'6" 210 and has broad shoulders (i.e. great frame to add 25-35 lbs and keep his speed) to TE...a position Dooley has publicly made clear how important it is to him?

:stop: no way we landed Hunter or Rogers under Lame, no way. Prater, maybe, but he was already a USC lock. you seriously need to stat pulling for the Trojans since you still have a man crush on Lame.

I dont see Teague or Meline being moved to D. Milton is built like a WR and will stay at WR. Dooley seems to like big TE's like 250+, look at the TE's we are recruiting they are all 235-250+, so I just dont see that either.
