That is about the worst injury scenario imaginable. Losing UT's best DT for the Florida game when there was already little depth.

Guess we get Walter Fisher back for the Florida game. Not comparing him to Harrell. But the body count should remain the same.

Not good but we should be ok moving Turk inside and putting speed at DE. I don't think Florida is a power running type team. BTW is Walter Fisher still hurt?

Will the DL go like this?

DE: Xavier Mitchell
DE: Robert Ayers
DT: Turk McBride
DT: Matt McGlothin

with JT Mapu seeing more time?

Tennessee defensive tackle Justin Harrell could miss Saturday’s game against No. 8 Florida after suffering a bicep injury in the Vols’ 31-30 victory over Air Force.

Fulmer, citing medical privacy laws, could not elaborate on Harrell’s condition.

Even though these are both big losses on defense, it's not the end of the world I guess. Others will have to step up. Some players respond well when given the chance, others don't. We'll see how it goes.

On another note, I'm really missing that open date before the UF game now, and I was one of those who thought we should have a couple of games before UF..

I take it back, I take it back..:mf_surrender:
