Is this really the right time for football players to be renting out clubs on Chapman Highway and hosting all night drinking parties two days before a game?

Hey man...they are college kids they are going to have fun...now two days before a game I am not sure if I agree with. But Rico and Vlad are over 21 so they can drink if they want to.

What!!!!.......college kids having fun!!!!!!!.......NO!!!!!

I'm all about having fun, and I am a college student. However, considering the circumstances and the past two weeks, is it the right time? If you want to play football here, then take it seriously. Football players have a lot of scholarship money invested in them. If they want to come here to party on weeknights, then don't play football. Sometimes getting the glory on the field requires a little bit of sacrifice and self control of other aspects in life.

If they aren't getting paid, let them live like college kids, at least! Seriously, a party they are throwing is about the safest place they could be, outside of staying home.

My goodness....Don't they know that their performance on saturdays will make or break millions of old men's hearts???? These guys aren't your pets or anything man, they are college kids who are going to have fun, hopefully they will be responsible but like most kids I'm sure sometimes they may have a beer or two....get over yourself.

pretty sure there 6 AM workouts, not having a summer, having to be in class despite being a full time athlete, and having obsessive fans stalking them on facebook is enough of a sacrifice....just b/c God blessed them with athletic ability doesn't mean they don't get to be kids....Also don't kid yourself that wasted talent only exists in athletics. If you are "allowed" to drink on weeknights but they aren't then I have to ask what talent are you wasting and shouldn't you sacrifice some things in order to better humankind? Or do you just feel more comfortable throwing stones?

Did coach kiffin not say yesterday that he tells his players that when they make decisions, they should ask themselves the question, "Does this help me become a better football player? or Does this help my team become a championship football team?" If that's coach kiffin's idea of what's right and what's wrong, then where would you think he would stand on this? Whether or not you agree with me is not important...

I agree with EricVol that the only concern i would have if I was CLK would be that it is less than 48 hours from kickoff. But hey its legal for them to drink, as long as they don't drive. Maybe the actual players will take it easy at the party since the game is coming up?
