I personally dont like Hyams, or any of the Knoxville media with the exception of Hubbs. I just didnt like the tone of some of the posters on here making fun of her for NO reason. Again, if she makes comments during the interview, she opens herself up to more pressing and intrusive questions. The personal attacks are what is disturbing.

Trying to make sense of Phil's choices in asst hurts my head. Is Phil that arrogant to think he can give the jobs to guys that are as slow on the uptake as he is?

I don't think the point of this thread was to bash Mrs. Fulmer. But, it seems fairly absurd for a sports journalist to interview a spouse, unless to further the emotional side of the coaching change. I think we have plenty of that, already.

Fulmer didn't want to happen to him what he did to Majors. Therefore, coaches who could potentially undermine him were not allowed to stay. Coaches who were inept enough to stay "loyal" to Fulmer were kept, regardless of how well they coached.

i was actually listening to the interview while driving home last night. she was actually sounding educated and composed. she definitely has had some press conference and interview training, unlike her husband. my favorite part of the interview: "philip made it to the hospital in time for our daughter's birth, and then had to leave to coach against mississippi state. i woke up around halftime and found out that not only did he go back but he named our daughter Allison Kathleen Fulmer, when her name was supposed to be Ashley Kathryn Fulmer, so he butched it on both ends"
