Did anyone notice early in the spring game when Poole had about at 30 yard run when there was a huge hole he danced around a bit at first. And normally after a 30 yrd run the coaches are clapping..not these guys. Kiffin went straight to him and yelled at him then he trotted off field and EG grabbed his facemask and gave him an earfull!!!!

Look at the play again. He made a solid cut at the hole but made the wrong cut down the field. He danced in the secondary and cut into the middle into pursuit instead of a quick cut to the outside where he had a WR blocking down a CB. It could have possibly scored or at least gained a bunch more yards. When your QB ain't great, you can't afford to miss big plays. I think that was what the fuss was all about.

Which to me is a great indication of this staff's intensity and attention to detail. Instead of slapping him on the back for a good cut in the hole and good burst and gain, they bust his chops for not making the correct second move and missing the opportunity to turn a good gain into a huge gain or score.

Not to pick on Fulmer, but he would have been all raw raw, clap clap clap after the nice gain...immediate feedback and learning opportunity would have been lost. They would have seen it on the film, but immediate feedback is important.

-Weight work is helping both lines. It's pretty obvious with the 'D'.. but the 'O' line showed flashes of being able to get in another guys grill. More weight time in this between period and the word physical may just return to the offense's lexicon... How sweet that would be.

Did you get to watch Montori Hughes in the first series? He was really winded, they've gotta keep up the conditioning too.

Arther Bryants BBQ in Kansas City is hard to beat for me. KC has a lot of good BBQ joints.

So now we wait.

-Last thing Kiff says to the team after practice 14 in that halftime practice video they showed in spring game..."nobody on the streets tonight!"... I'm betting nobody was.

-Bryce Brown, you better bring the smack in August if you intend to play. Monterrio, Tony and Tauren are running north and the jukey crap has clearly been coached out of them. Pound the rock BB, I want to see you something bad..

Love that Lane keeps them off the street. I heard that in the halftime piece and just loved it.

Also, saw coach Gran coaching that jukey crap out of their games on the halftime video as well. He was all about taking a one step stick and go. Love it!
