Just Sat Down In My Seats...

Scoreboard is top notch. Concourses are better, but still a work in progress. The black seats are one of the best ideas ever by the UTAD.

I love the way the new black seats look on the website. I can't wait to get up there and check them out in person.

And the loge? Club level?

My seats are in the lower level beneath the club and loge levels. I'll get a look at them later tonight.

I am sure you want to get to the action, one last question from me. What have they done in the upper deck where there was old aluminium bleachers/black curtain?

not to mention they are all padded as well with cupholders on the seatbacks of the rows in front of you.

Maybe I can get up there and I can watch a game with ya sometime hat. I want to learn the "Hat Encyclopedia of UT Basketball Volume 1" from the master himself :hi:. If not I would settle for the paperback version. :good!:

Hat, I know you agreed with me on how cool the Palestra is, but one place I've never been to that I desperately want to get to is Hinkle Fieldhouse. Have you been there?

I never have found Indy to be all that spectacular, but if Hinkle is worth it, I would be willing to make a trip to see Butler.

Hinkle Fieldhouse is as good a true basketball venue as you'll find. Saw Butler play Illinois-Chicago there. Allen Fieldhouse is another one of those old, classic barns.

my wife is a big KU fan and we've been to a few games at Allen Fieldhouse. It SMELLS like a gym. Great place. It felt like I was at a huge high school game.
