I mean, are there any current or former football players that post on VolNation? I noticed a user called "Carl Pickens" but my hopes and dreams were dashed when I clicked on his public profile and saw he was a risk management dude into krav maga. :eek:lol:

I slept in a Holiday Inn Express that was very close to campus so Yes!!

Vikings have no idea what Krav Maga is and as a result would suffer severe beat downs in a conflict

Travis Henry posts on here occasionally between writing child support checks.

Cordarelle Patterson posts on the Wildcat Lair because he runs the wrong route to VN.

Arian Foster posts on here during his break at Taco Bell.

Tyler Bray used to post but he quits before he finishes any of them.

I know what you are saying. Damn. A bunch of punkass Bama and Ga fans is all that is here anymore. I myself was born and raised in Jimtown. I was quite literally wearing orange in diapers and can not remember ever not being a UT fan. My family were all giant fans with the lone exception being my maternal grandmother who was born in Cullman,AL. I remember growing up in the 80s and every damn year we would be counting down to TSO because we knew we would get revenge. She would just calmly say the Tide wad gonna roll and we know what happened. In 94 however she said I believe we'll let y'all win one. She knew as much about football as any of us. We respect loyalty to your home state. I just wish UT and Bama could ever be excellent at the same time. All my life it has been Bama till 94 then mostly us till 07 then Bama again. I wanna see some back and forth between us and a damn SEC CG between UT and Bama. I will always cheer for the Big Orange regardless if we win again. I would obviously prefer beating Bama and being 1-11 as losing and being 14-1 NC. That is just me. Go Vols.

I reject the question as worded in the title.

Many of us are real Vols. Because we're Volunteers, citizens of the great state of Tennessee and/or graduates or students at the University of Tennessee.

So we're a lot of us real Vols.

Now, for the question you meant to ask, and did get around to asking in the text of the OP:

Are any of us current or former Volunteer football players?

I bet there are a fair few of those among us, but they're not any of them admitting it. And can't blame them...they'd be mobbed, whether for good or ill. Best to keep the IAC (Internet Anonymity Cloak) firmly wrapped about them.

So short answer is, you'll never know the answer to your question. But assume yes.

football player no.... I did run into Wayne chism at the Golden Corral in Hermitage one time, was gonna give me an autograph but I didn't have a pen. True story Grudes.

I was born at UT hospital, My first diaper was orange and white...So yes, That makes me a REAL VOL :clapping:

There are a lot of self proclaimed experts on here but I recognize a few that really know college football. You’re one of them. I’d bet that you played.
