Dooley gets all the blame for the defense, but no credit for growth of offense and special teams.
Now, at the end of the day, his hire of Sal may well be his undoing, but don't act like we're not better in some aspects.
Dooley isn't the worst coach ever, but he did make a crappy hire.
With even an average-to-bad defense, this bunch would be praising Dooley for coach of the year.
There's a fine line between success and failure. Our D woes have placed us on the unfavorable side. W-L is key.
If Dooley is fired, it's for the same reason as Fulmer: $$$. He made a bad choice in staff and that staff led to his undoing a la attendance and concessions.
We are better in many aspects than 3 years ago. Unfortunately, one glaring aspect of the game is holding this squad back.
Whether Dooley & Co. are back next year or not, my plea is to chill out with the vitriol and let things unfold as they may.
