Said he turnded down ESPN's offer to televise the Kentucky game on ESPN and move it to 7:45. He said the game will be a day game.

I like the move, although I don't ind night games. It was gonna be pretty dang cold, though. Why couldn't ESPN televise it during the day, anyway? It's not like there is an abundance of games on Thanksgiving Saturday, anyway.

It would be really cold at night. I went in Lexington last year /w my cousin that goes to UK, nearly froze my nips off!

That kinda sucks though, b/c I'll be in Virginia, I needed ESPN to get the game so I could watch it. :( I guess I can still wear Orange... I'll be with my aunt and cousin, who are a UK alum and student, respectively.

I'll be at visiting relatives in Alabama. We were hoping to get to watch the game together... and after hearing that ESPN wanted to televise the game, everything was set. Even if JPSports picks up the game, they don't pick up the low-signal channel that carries JPSports in their area.

Do you guys have a link?? Dang, I'm making my first appearance to Neyland this year, and plans were all set! Good thing we haven't gotten any hotel rooms! Back to the drawing board!

I agree about the national exposure...how can you turn that down at the end of the season (hopefully on the verge of the SEC Championship Game) and at the height of recruiting?

I don't want to freeze my butt off more than anybody else but I'm willing to take a little hypothermia for the good of the program.

Hamilton stated that it would be easier to sell the 4,000 tickets returned by Kentucky if the game were during the day.

I will say, that I've never been any colder at a game than when Tennessee plays Kentucky..... and that WAS during the day.

Last year? Yeah, that was terrible... I was happy to walk out with a win, and without a bloody nose. I was sitting in the UK student section and a couple of drunk guys noticed my Orange on under my coat... I thought they were going to try and break me in two, which I was so cold, I would have easily shattered.

OrangeCrush, there was an article on utsports.com as well as in the Tennessean... I'm too lazy to link. I know, I suck.

Any word on JP coverage? I guess there's always the single k-mart camera, car-salesman-for-a-play-by-play guy, rape-my-wallet pay-per-view.

:bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:

I went last year, and yes, it was cold. It was snowing the night before.

On top of that, most of the UK fans around me were @ssholes.
